Translation of command inputs are not working as expected

Summary

We would like to translate in Italian some commands, but we have problems. We have modified the file vdres.txt, like :

 Select Zoom Type [Extends,All,Scale,Previous,Window]< Extends>:^Seleziona tipo zoom [Estensione,Tutto,Scala,Precedente,Finestra]< Estensione>: 
 E;e^E;e 
 A;a^T;t 
 S;s^S;s 
 P;p^P;p 
 W;w^F;f 
 

The text "Seleziona tipo zoom [Estensione,Tutto,Scala,Precedente,Finestra]< Estensione>:" appears on screen, but the commands A in T and W in F do not work.

Solution

When setting accepted values the first value must remain the same .... for example the E;e will be tranlated as following E;e^E;T;t. Accepted values have ; character inside usually and are the answers of a command's question. So your vdres.txt should be like :

 Select Zoom Type [Extends,All,Scale,Previous,Window]< Extends>:^Seleziona tipo zoom [Estensione,Tutto,Scala,Precedente,Finestra]< Estensione>: 
 E;e^E;e 
 A;a^A;T;t 
 S;s^S;s 
 P;p^P;p 
 W;w^W;F;f
