I tried the new component on several machines. The strange thing is
when I
install it on a DELPHI 6 machine that never worked with VDRAW before
it
works OK. But when I install the new vdraw component on a system that used
an
older trail version before, the new one(4.0.0.1017) will not work.
Are there other dependencies to re-install or
reconfigure?
You have to remove the contol from Delphi and delete the files that Delphi built when you installed VectorDraw control in Delphi.
When you install any VectorDraw component you should install it "Into new package" *.dpk and not into a existing package.
When you want to replace an VectorDraw ActiveX with another newer one you should follow the instructions I have already emailed you.
